Latest changes to Dragonball DIY kit: ------------------------------------- Since the time I wrote the "songokuu.readme" file I've made yet more upgrades to the Songoku model: Technically you have version 1 of the model. I regard the prototype as a reject, but you can have fun with it anyway :) This is the version used in the first Songoku anim (uploaded to Aminet in mid-June 94). Version 2a added things such as better clothing, arm muscles. Version 2b has minor improvements to the arm muscles as well as bootlaces. Check out the two JPGs. If you want version 2 please email me. The current version I'm using is version 3. The hairdo has been significantly changed so that it's almost exactly the way it's drawn in the manga. The body proportions are better and the folds on his pants are more realistic. The hands have also been improved. Overall, the clothing, arms and hands are the least realistic aspects. BTW, if you're wondering why "Songoku" is sometimes spelled with 2 "u"'s, the reason is that the "u" is an extended vowel in the original Japanese pronounciation. Sometimes I'm just lazy :P I also have a second anim of Songoku which has sky, ground, shadows and all. It's a good 3 Mb in size for only 40 frames of 320x256. NEW! ---- What's new? Piccolo of course! I've just added Songoku's ex-arch-enemy-turned- ally into my (slowly) expanding 3D model collection :) It took me just 1 day to model and render "piccolo.jpg". Of course, the model is modified from Songoku. I've also just finished rendering another ANIM7 of Songoku vs Piccolo, which took about 18 hrs on my A1200/030/40Mhz (time to buy more memory, FPU...etc, please send money!) Due credits and copyrights belong to the original creator of Dragonball. -tomwoof (14.7.94) ------------------------------------------------- | email: my email address is still not available! | | mail: 105, Depot Rd, #09-621, Singapore 0410 | ------------------------------------------------- P.S.
